Patricia G. Watkins, 84 of Greensburg, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010 in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Thursday, December 10, 1925 in New Kensington, Daughter of the late James A. and Grace Campbell McKee.
Pat was a graduate of Indiana State Teachers College and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Greensburg and the PSEA.
She was a retired Music Educator and Supervisor for Hempfield Area School District and later Greater Latrobe Area School District.
Pat was an accomplished musician and vocalist. She enjoyed her travels to Hawaii for many years with her late husband, D. Herbert (Herb) Watkins.
Surviving are her loving Daughters, Charlene J. Beck and husband Joe of Bradford Woods, Patty Wager and husband Roy of Buckhannon, WVa, Karen C. Slagle and husband David of Greensburg and a , Grandson, James David Holt Wager of Richmond, Va., and Granddaughter, Meghan Grace Wager of Morgantown, WVa.
Family and Friends will be received Sunday from 1 to 5 pm at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main St. Greensburg.
Services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 300 South Main Street Greensburg on Monday at 1:30 PM with Rev. Martin Ankrum officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the First Presbyterian Church or the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, Pittsburgh Division, 6507 Wilkins Avenue, Suite 100,
