Paul Thomas Smail, 92, of Hyattsville, Maryland, formerly of Greensburg, died on Thursday, November 6, 2014 in his home.
He was born in South Greensburg, PA, son of the late Victor Zimmerman and Grace (Marsteller) Smail.
Paul was a Protestant by faith and former member of the Third United Church of Christ in South Greensburg. He was also a Mason and member of the American Legion in Maryland.
Prior to retirement, he worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Gallaudet University, Washington, DC.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Laurence and Richard Smail and sisters, June McClarran and Eunice Troy.
Surviving are his wife of 72 years, Mary Belle Wolfe Smail; brother, V. Dean Smail of Summerville, SC; sister-in-law, Betty Wolfe of Greensburg; numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg on Thursday from 10 to 11 AM, the hour of service in the funeral home with Rev. Robert Garris officiating.
Interment will be held in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park.
