Pauline E. Newell, 91 of Greensburg, passed away, Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
She was born January 4, 1922 in Mammoth and was the daughter of the late Ignatius and Mary Palcic .
Pauline was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Greensburg.
Besides her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, James (Bob) Newell, her brothers, Steve, Iggy, and George and her sisters, Annie, Kay, and Agnes.
Surviving are her son, Robert J. Newell of Greensburg, sisters Mary Tandaric and Margaret Palcic, both of Mammoth and numerous nieces and nephews.
Honoring Pauline's wishes, there will be no public visitation.
A prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 9 am followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated in the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral at 9:30 am.
Interment will follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, 300 N. Main St. Greensburg, PA 15601.
