Philip Anthony Morrison, 54, of Delmont, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at his home.
He was born May 7, 1960, in New Orleans, La., son of Paul Alexander Morrison, of Tennessee, and the late Lenore Ruth (Braisted) Morrison.
Philip was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Greensburg and had reached the highest level of Toastmasters. He worked as a senior environmental scientist for Morris Knowles and Associates Inc. Philip enjoyed reading, watching old shows, scuba diving, hiking and backpacking.
Philip was preceded in death by his mother, Lenore (Braisted) Morrison; and brother, Bruce Emerson Morrison.
In addition to his father, he is survived by brother, Tim Morrison and wife, Tami Morrison; and sister, Amy R. Little and husband, Robert A. Little.
Honoring the family's wishes, there will be no public visitation. A small family memorial service will be held in Tennessee at a later date.
