Ralph Kinkead

Ralph V. Kinkead Sr. 85 of Unity Township died Wednesday September 25, 2013 at the Excela Westmoreland Hospital. He was born on September 18, 1928 in Greensburg and was the son of the late Charles and Elizabeth Kinkead. Prior to retirement he had been an educator for 35 years. Ralph was a member of the Charter Oak Methodist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Floyd Kinkead and Anna Jane Washabau.
He is survived by his wife Rhoda (Darby) Kinkead and four children, Rhonda Bell, Robin Howard and husband Ron, Randall Kinkead and wife Sherri and Ralph Kinkead Jr. and wife Colleen. His grandchildren Brad (Emily) and Brett Bell, Ron, Bryon and Eric Howard, Cody (Ashleigh) and Deron Kinkead and Courtney and Camryn Kinkead. Also his brothers Charles (Jane) Kinkead and Edwin (Cathy) Kinkead along with several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday from noon till 4 pm at the Kepple- Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg. A service will be held on Monday in the funeral home at 10 am with Rev. Chris Whitehead officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donation to either the American Heart Association, 4727 Route 30 Suite 204, Greensburg, Pa. 15601 or the Alzheimer's Foundation, 1100 Liberty Ave. Suite E201, Pittsburgh Pa. 15222.
