Raymond A. Davis, 81 of Mt. Pleasant, died peacefully at his home, Tuesday, March 5, 2013.
Ray was born March 20, 1931 in Latrobe. He was a WWII Army veteran and retired from Teledyne Vasco in Latrobe. Ray was a member of the Hempfield Church of Christ in Greensburg. He loved golf, westerns, and spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Mark Davis and Brian Davis.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 21 years, Shirley Davis; his daughter-in-law, Lori Davis of Pompano Beach, FL; his children by marriage, Lisa Abraham (David), Michelle John (Henry), Robert Trout (Susan) of Eugene, OR, David Trout (Dana); his grandchildren, Karyssa Gault, Lauren Edmonds(Jeffrey), Kristen Tapper, Kellen Trout, Trevor Trout, and his great grandson, Jace Edmonds.
Ray was a loving husband, father, and friend who will always be remembered for his joyful disposition and warm smile.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8pm and Friday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 North Main Street Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11am at Hempfield Church of Christ in Greensburg with Rev. Mike Hazelton officiating.
