Raymond R. "Ray" Robb, 72, of Greensburg, Hempfield Township, died Saturday, October 25, 2014 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.
Ray was born, August 2, 1942, in Latrobe, the son of the late Raymond A. and Mary L. Ciocco Robb.
He was a 1960 graduate of Latrobe High School and a 1965 graduate of Catholic University of America with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for Leybold and Elliott Companies. Ray was a member of Our Lady of Grace Parish.
For over 50 years, he was a member of the Penn-Ligonier Railroad Club and also a member of the Ligonier Valley Railroad Association. He loved model trains and restoring British sports cars.
Ray is survived by his wife of 46 years, Frances L. "Fran" Battaglia Robb; his son Dr. Raymond E. Robb and wife, Dr. Victoria Robb of Newtown, PA; and 4 grandchildren, that were the lights of his life, Audrey, Raymond T., Jordan and Jacob Robb.
There will be no visitation. A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM at Our Lady of Grace Parish Church, 1101 Mt. Pleasant Road, Greensburg. EVERYONE PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO CHURCH.
