Rhoda D. Kinkead, 81, of Unity Township, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Walnut Ridge Memory Care in Greensburg. Born October 23, 1932 in Bobtown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mildred Darby.
Prior to retirement, she worked for the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit. Rhoda was a member of Charter Oak United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph V. Kinkead, Sr. in September 2013 as well as her siblings, Lawrence Darby, Jr. and Betty Contesti.
Mrs. Kinkead is survived by four children; Rhonda Bell, Robin Howard and husband, Ron, Randall Kinkead and wife, Sherri, and Ralph Kinkead, Jr. and wife, Colleen; her grandchildren, Brad (Emily) and Brett Bell, Ron, Bryon, and Eric Howard, Cody (Ashleigh) and Devon Kinkead, and Courtney and Camryn Kinkead; her siblings, Audrey (Phil) Masters and Robert (Toni) Darby and sister-in-law, Audrey Darby; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Monday from 5-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 North Main Street Greensburg.
Services will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home at 10:30am.
Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery.
