Richard Greaves, Jr

Richard L. Greaves Jr., 69 of Greensburg, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Excela Health, Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.

He was born in 1946 to Richard L. Greaves Sr. and Eleanor (Buchanan) Greaves in Greensburg.

Richard attended the Community United Presbyterian Church, New Alexandria, He was a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School and Point Park College. Richard was a member of the Hannastown Fireman's Club, New Alexandria Ukrainian Club, various dart, pool and golf leagues.

He is survived by three sisters, Barbara A. Hayden and husband Thomas, Dee Zimmerman and husband Roger, Nancy Polhamus and husband Roger, all of Greensburg; Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and his two cats Brutus I and Brutus II.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Helen Rupnik and a nephew Jeffery Jobe.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8PM at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, with Rev. Kathleen Shirey, officiating.

Burial will take place in the New Alexandria Union Cemetery, New Alexandria.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 510 Pellis Road, Greensburg, PA 15601.
