Richard A. McCoy, 81, of Greensburg, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015, at his home. He was born June 15, 1933, in Swissvale, a son of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Bohacik) McCoy.
Prior to his retirement, Richard had been employed as an electrician for Trane Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a veteran of the Navy and enjoyed going to camp.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann McCoy.
He is survived by his children, Richard A. McCoy (Nancy), Debra Gray (Thomas), George A. McCoy and Russell A. McCoy; four grandchildren, Brian and Robert McCoy and Thomas and Jennifer Gray; and a great-granddaughter, Catalina McCoy. He is also survived by his companion, Debra Pedder and her family.
Family and friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. Everyone is invited to attend a committal service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel at St. Clair Cemetery with the Rev. John Smaligo officiating.
