Richard E. “Dick” Myers, 82, of Greensburg, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025. Dick was born on April 18, 1942 in Greensburg, the only son of the late Richard W. “Dick” Myers and Gladys Pearl Ruffner Myers.
Dick graduated from West Virginia University and Duquesne University School of Law. Dick was a well respected attorney in private practice in Westmoreland County. He served as a juvenile master from 1978 to 1998.
He was a proud member of the US Navy Judge Advocate General Corps from 1968 to 1971, retiring as a lieutenant commander.
Dick was predeceased by his sister, Joan Myers Bertani. He is survived by his wife, Judith R. Myers; his three children and their families: Rich (Sheila) Myers, Madysen and Gabriel; Gretchen (Charles) Krimmel, Adylade Corinne and Paige; Brett (Sarah) Myers, Taylar, Lacey and Weston; and great granddaughter, Layla Jade. He is also survived by his sisters, Patricia (Dante) Renzuli and Nancy (Jeff) McConnell; brother-in-law, Dante G. Bertani; also, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life for Dick will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 10 am until the hour of service at 11 am in Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans 1000 Liberty Ave #1606, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 or the Greensburg-Hempfield Area Library 237 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Greensburg, PA 15601.
