Richard A. "Waugie" Waugaman, 85, of Greensburg, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013, at his home. Born Feb. 14, 1928, in Greensburg, he was a son of the late Clifford and Lillie (Beck) Waugaman. Waugie was raised on his family's farm and worked there until he acquired a job as a lineman for West Penn Power Co. He was a member of St. John Harrold United Church of Christ and a 50-year member and past master of the Masonic Lodge No. 750 in Jeannette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, Marie Liggett, Jean Clemens, Eleanor Duffus, Billie, Beryl and Jere Waugaman, Betty Kemerer and Phyllis Waugaman. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty Henry Waugaman; children, Susan (Dan) Miller, of Greensburg, and Richard A. (Sandy) Waugaman Jr., of Raleigh, N.C.; four grandchildren, Daniel Miller, of Morgantown, W.Va., Richard, Andrew and Ashley Waugaman, of Raleigh, N.C.; several nieces and nephews; and his bulldog, Lizzy. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. Masonic services will be conducted 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home by members of Masonic Lodge No. 750 of Jeannette. Services will be held 10 a.m. Monday in St. John Harrold United Church of Christ, 103 St. John Church Road, Greensburg, with the Rev. Dr. Robert McKie presiding. Please go directly to the church.
