Robert John Davidson, 91, of Hempfield Township, died, Sunday, September 15, 2024. He was born in Canton Ohio on November 22, 1932, a son of the late James and Alfreda Gardner Davidson. Robert was an Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Greensburg. Prior to retirement, he was employed as an insurance broker. Robert was also very proud to serve as a former Hempfield Township Supervisor. Robert was an avid fan of the Steelers and Pirates. He also was very fond of his daughter Cammie’s spaghetti sauce and loved being with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sondra Williams Davidson; his sister, Peg Barchesi (Chester); also, his brother-in-law, Nelson Williams. He is survived by his daughters, Camberley Davidson, Sonnie Riegel (Keith) and Dana Bollinger-Cole; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Stephen Williams (Donna); also, several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Friday, September 20th from 11 am until the hour of service at 1 pm at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery with military honors accorded by Greensburg V.F.W. Post 33 Honor Guard. For online condolences, please visit www.kepplegrafft.com.
