Robert Oplinger
July 4, 1939 — November 13, 2011
Robert L. Oplinger Sr. 72 formerly of Crabtree passed away on Sunday 11/13/11 in the Latrobe Health and Rehab Center.
He was born in Arona, on 7/4/1939 and was the son of the late Cyrus H. and Blanche Whigan Oplinger.
Bob was a retired store manager for the Blairsville Shop and Save and was protestant by faith.
He was preceded in death besides his parents by his brothers and sisters, James, Junior, Herbert, Clarence, Norman, Evelyn, Leslie, Myrtle and Blanche.
Surviving are his two sons Robert Oplinger Jr. and wife Cindy and Steve Oplinger and wife Denise all of Greensburg. Also his eight grandchildren Rick, Matt, Jamie, Dalton, Scott and Ryan and his great grandchild Alec along with his brothers Carl, Donald, Leroy Oplinger and Ronald Halliwell.
Family and Friends will be received at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 N. Main St, Greensburg on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
Services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 10 am. with interment to follow in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park.
