Robert Rundy

Robert L. “Bob” Rundy, 80, of Greensburg, died Thursday, January 10, 2019, in UPMC Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh after a short illness.  He was born in Greensburg on July 26, 1938, a son of the late John A. “Tony” Rundy and Florence Greisinger Rundy.  Bob retired from Allegheny Energy, Substations Engineering, Cabin Hill, Greensburg in 1996 after 36 years of service.  He was a member of Free and Accepted Masons Philanthropy 225, Scottish Rite Valley of Pittsburgh and Tall Cedars of Lebanon.  He was a committed member of the Heritage Foundation and was Methodist by faith.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Ray P. and Lynda Rundy.  Bob is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia “Pat” Friedline Rundy; daughter, Lisa R. Peila and her husband Tony and their children, Anthony III, and Charlotte; his son, Eric R. Rundy and his wife Jody and their children Adam, Ashley and Ethan; a niece and nephew and several great nieces.  Everything that Bob did was for his family and friends and he will be greatly missed.  Visitation and services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Boy Scouts of America, at 2 Garden Center Drive, Greensburg PA 15601.  Please make checks out to BSA and note the donation is in memory of Robert Rundy.  Funeral arrangements are being handled by Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, Greensburg.  For online condolences, please visit www.kepplegraft.com
