Rosemary Schimizzi

Rosemary Schimizzi, 80 of Jeannette passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2011 in Westmoreland Hospital.

She was born Friday, April 4, 1930 in Renton, Pa., Daughter of the late Harry and Anna Rebold Lang.

Rosemary was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral and had a strong faith in God. She enjoyed her summers at Deep Creek lake along with spending time with her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. She especially loved hosting her family during the holidays.
She was preceded in death besides her parents by a brother Robert Lang.

Surviving are her loving husband, Frank Schimizzi and their children Paul and wife Barbara, Richard and wife Lugene, Frank and wife Pat, Lois Blum and husband Tom, and Robert Schimizzi and companion Tamara, her 13 grandchildren Jennifer Yothers and husband Aaron, Kathryn Piper and husband Jason, Michael, Matthew and wife Lindsey, Thomas, Daniel, Carrie, Nicholas, Christopher, Emily and Jared Schimizzi and Ryan and Amy Blum and four great grandchildren Dominic, Lydia and Emerson Piper and Samantha Yothers. Her Brother Charles Lang , Sister Lois McDonough and Sister- in- law Rose Lang.

Family and Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-5 and 6-9 pm at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Chapel in the Bishop Connare Center, Route 30 East Greensburg on Wednesday at 10 am with interment to follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations to either the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral Memorial Fund, 300 N. Main Street Greensburg or the American Diabetes Foundation, 300 Penn Center Blvd. Suite #602, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15235.
