Ruth Hall

Ruth Jean "Jeannie" Hall, 91, of Thompson, Ohio, formerly of Greensburg, died Saturday, September 27, 2014, in Blossom Hill Care Center, Huntsburg, OH. She was born February 13, 1923, in Adelaide, PA, a daughter of the late Henry William and Hazel Marie Washabaugh Seighman. Ruth was a telephone operator for 42 years with Bell Telephone, later known as AT&T, before retiring in 1985. She was a member of First Christian Church, Greensburg. Also, she was a member of Telephone Pioneers, AARP # 3897 and a former member of the Greensburg YWCA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Hall; 4 brothers, Bill, Crawford, Donald and Jack Seighman; 2 sisters, Sara Kalp and Dolores Early. She is survived by 2 sisters, Doris Hough of Fairchance, PA and Marlyn Sullivan of Thompson, OH; also, a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home Thursday from Noon-2 PM, where funeral services will be held at 2 PM with Dr. Renny Domske officiating.
