Ruth Olmer

Ruth Olmer, 92 of Greensburg passed away Monday, March 12, 2012 in the Greensburg care Center. She was born in Greensburg on April 19, 1919 and was the daughter of the late Wesley and Caroline Loughner Smith. She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Youngwood . She was preceded in death besides her parents by her husband W. Carle Olmer in 1986. She is survived by her children William C. Olmer Jr., Audrey A. Reid of Greensburg and Carole L. Graham of North Huntingdon, two grandson's Matthew and Jeremy Reid and two great granddaughters Audrey and Emily Reid. Also two sisters Dorothy J. Billger of Allentown and Edna P. Smith and a brother Keith A. Smith both of Greensburg and several nieces and nephews. Ruth's family wishes to thank the staff of the Greensburg Care Center for their excellent care and compassion given to their mother. Private visitation and services were held at the Kepple- Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg with Rev. Jay F. Shaffer officiating. Interment followed in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to one's favorite charity.
