Sally Rager

Sara Ann “Sally” Rager, 84, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, April 25, 2023, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born March 3, 1939 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Richard W. Rager and Violet A. Coleman Rager. She was a 1957 graduate of Greensburg High School. Prior to retirement, she worked for Bell Telephone as an operator before moving to the accounting department. Sally was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she had served as a deacon, elder, choir member and on the Second Sunday Supper Committee. She was also a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers, Westmoreland Hospital Auxiliary, the Committee for the Westmoreland Museum of American Art, and P.E.O. She is survived by many special friends. A memorial service for Sally will be held on Thursday, May 11th at 11am, at First Presbyterian Church, 300 South Main Street, Greensburg.
