Shirley Judy

Shirley D. Judy, 83, of Greensburg, died, Saturday June 16, 2018, in Redstone Highlands, Greensburg.  She was born on January 13, 1935 in Wilkinsburg, a daughter of the late, Harry Edgar Flickinger and Zola Griffith Flickinger.  Prior to retirement, she was employed as a secretary for the Greensburg Salem School District.  She was a former member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Greensburg where she taught Sunday school and was active in the church’s youth activities.  Shirley loved gardening and being out in her yard.  She enjoyed sewing, traveling and bowling in the Cornerstone Ministries Bowling League.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Robert Raymond Judy; also, a brother, James Flickinger.  She is survived by her children, Jamey Covaleski (Paul) of Pittsburgh, Michael Judy (Cathy) of Penrose, CO, David Judy of Jeannette, PA and Joanne Mulrooney (Shaun) of Murphysboro, IL; a brother, Richard Flickinger, (Judi) of Pottstown, PA; her grandchildren, Kylea and Thaddeus Covaleski, Shirley and Michael Judy, Katie (Mark) Sargent, Dehen and Dillon Mulrooney; 3 great grandsons, Johnathan, Lucas and Andrew Judy; also, a number of nieces and nephews.  Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 10am until the hour of service at 11 am at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg, PA.  Interment will be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, PA.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Redstone@Home, 6 Garden Center Drive, Greensburg, PA 15601.  For online condolences, please visit www.kepplegraft.com.
