Shirley W. Myers, 76 of Greensburg, passed away on Tuesday January 10, 2012 in Excela Westmoreland Hospita.l She was born in Greensburg on February 2, 1935 and was the daughter of the late John and Hazel Beighley Wolfe. She graduated from Greensburg High School; Class of 1952. Shirley was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Greensburg and a former Sunday School Teacher. She and her husband Duane enjoyed traveling to 47 of our states along with Mexico and Canada thru the years. She also was an avid quilter and enjoyed her bowling, roller skating and square dancing thru the years. Most of all she loved the family cook outs and gatherings. Shirley is survived by her loving spouse of 59 years Duane V. Myers and children Darryl Myers; Cherie (Marty) Shinko, David (Lisa) Myers; Holli (Gabe) Homan; her grandchildren Eric Myers, Jennifer Myers Piatek, Kelly Shinko Rombold, Amy Shinko and Nathaniel and Abby Homan along with her great grandchildren Kelsey and Sarena Myers, Evan and Alexa Piatek and Madeline Rombold and two brothers Jack (Bobbie) Wolfe, Jim (Karen) Wolfe and Brother-in-Law Dale Kunkle.Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, ( an authorized remembrance provider) 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg, Pa. with additional visitation on Saturday from 9:30 am till 10:30 am in the South Greensburg United Methodist Church, 411 Sheridan Ave. So. Greensburg, with services to begin at 10:30 am with Rev. Edwin Herald, officiating. Interment will take place in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers Memorials donations are suggested to the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer, 1133 So. Braddock Ave. Pittsburgh, Pa. 15218.
