Sidney Steiner

Sidney M. Steiner, 74 of Greensburg, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2011 in Cedars Hospice of Monroeville.

He was born Tuesday, September 29, 1936 in Greensburg, Son of the late Lloyd A. and Violet Brown Steiner.
Sidney served in the Navy and was a retired welder for the Beckwith Machine Co.
He was a member of the Hempfield Church of Christ and had served as a deacon, elder and sunday school teacher at the church along with starting the ministry for the deaf at the church.
He was preceded in death besides his parents by two sisters Peggy Frund and Anna Belle Combetti and two brothers Hans and Clifford Steiner.

Surviving are his loving wife M. Ruth Steiner and their children Mark L. Steiner, Debbie Gregg and husband Jim, and Paul J. Steiner and wife Laura all of Greensburg. His four grandchildren, Emily and Michael Gregg and Jacob and Miranda Steiner along with his Sister, Gail Skolak and mother-in-law Laura Price all of Greensburg.

Family and Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main St. Greensburg.

Services will be held at Hempfield Church of Christ, Tuesday at 11 am with Rev. Mike Hazelton officiating.

Private interment will be in the Hillview Cemetery, Greensburg.
