Sondra Davidson

Sondra Lee “Sonnie” Davidson, 86, of Greensburg, died, Monday, December 19, 2022, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.  She was born in Greensburg on July 27, 1936, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Margaret “Peg” Blose Williams.  She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. She was a graduate of Greensburg High School. Prior to retirement, she was employed as a bank teller for Southwest Bank and volunteered at Excela Health Wetmoreland Hospital. Sonnie was known as a very kind and nice person.  She enjoyed reading and needlepoint. Family and friends couldn’t wait for her to bake her raisin filled cookies and gobs (devil dogs).  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Nelson Williams.  Sonnie is survived by her husband, Robert John Davidson; her daughters, Camberley  Davidson, Dana Cole and Sondra Riegel (Keith); brother, Stephen Williams (Donna); her grandchildren, Ryan Rushton, Chelsi Lewis (Kevin), Calli Bollinger, Carli Butler (Andy), Sarah Riegel and Maddi Riegel; 5 great grandchildren; also, 2 nieces and 2 nephews.  Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 4 to 6 pm at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg.  Funeral services for Sondra will be held on Friday at 1 pm in the funeral home.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greensburg Hempfield Area Library, 237 South Pennsylvania Avenue, Greensburg, PA 15601.  For online condolences, please visit www.kepplegraft.com
