Stanford Fox

Stanford K. Fox, 81, of Greensburg, passed away, Wednesday, July 21, 2010 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born July 19, 1929 in Youngwood a son of the late George O. and Margaret Allison Fox.Mr. Fox retired in 1988 from Bell of Pa. where he had worked as a deskman. He was a graduate of Youngwood High School. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Greensburg and the Philanthropy Lodge #225 F & AM. Stanford was a veteran of the US Navy and was a life member of the Youngwood VFW.He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Coralee Farmer Fox; daughter, Kathleen Fox Heberling and husband Clayton of Monroeville; son, Christopher B. Fox of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Stephanie, David; Jeffrey and Bethany; and a brother, James E. Fox and wife Nancy of Scottdale.There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 24 at 11 A.M. in First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Duane Morford officiating. Private interment will take place in St. Clair Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church 15 E. Second St. Greensburg PA 15601. Terence L.
