Suellen Williams

Suellen Williams, age 78 of Greensburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 26, 2018 at Redstone Highlands. She was born August 29, 1939 to Garald and Rowena O’Dell.

Suellen graduated with a teaching degree from Central Michigan University. She was an elementary teacher for many years and finished her career as the Christian Education Director at Utica United Methodist Church. Suellen was an active member of her churches, both at Woodside Bible Church in Troy, MI and later at Charter Oak Church in Greensburg. She loved spending time with her family, sewing and teaching Bible Study.

Suellen was preceded in death by her husband Ray L. Williams of 44 years. They were married on February 16, 1963 at the Clarkston United Methodist Church. She is survived by her children, Jennifer (Tom) Beagan and Matthew (Amy) Williams; grandchildren, Justin (Jenn) Beagan, Kiersten (Matthew) Telzerow, Abigayle Williams and Caleb Williams; great-grandchildren, known as GG, to Grayson and Landon; and sister, Judy (Jim) Tisdale. She will also be missed by many nieces, a nephew, relatives and faithful friends.

A memorial service is being planned for August 11, 2018 at Charter Oak Church with visitation from 9-11 AM, followed by the memorial service.

A later memorial service is being planned in Michigan for Aug. 18, 2018, at Woodside Bible Church, with visitation from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Hillman Cancer Center or Charter Oak Church.
