Susan L. King, 65, of Greensburg, passed away suddenly in Overland Park Kansas on October 25, 2011. She was born June 24, 1946 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late O.L.K. McKibben and Florence H. McKibben.
Susie was treasured by her family and the many friends she had as a long time resident of Greensburg. She was a current employee at Macy's Westmoreland Mall and previous employee at Montgomery Wards. She was a 50-year member of the First Presbyterian Church of Greensburg. She enjoyed gardening, walking and most of all, her grandchildren.
Susie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Susie is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Chuck King plus her adoring children: Steven D. King of Portland ME, Jennifer King Wilson and husband Randy of Kernersville, NC and Michelle King Cushey and husband Karl of Overland Park KS, and her cherished grandchildren: Sarah Nicole Cushey, Julia Maree Cushey, Austin Tyler Cushey, Aden Dwight King, Carlie Ann King plus Karma Sue Wilson and Bentley Cushey. She is also survived by her sisters Eileen Gabrielson of Tuscaloosa, AL and Judy Newhouse of Homosassa, FL plus many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends will be received 4 to 8 pm Tuesday at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. Funeral services will begin at 11 am with Rev. Martin Ankrum officating on Wednesday at the First Presbyterian Church, 300 S. Main St., Greensburg (everyone please go directly to the church). Interment will be in the St. Clair Cemetery.
