Susan Meadows

Susan M. Meadows, 79, of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Redstone Highlands. She was born March 8, 1943, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Matthew J. and Margaret R. (Augustine) McKeone. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Eleanor Lois (McKeone) Laughlin and Matthew and Richard McKeone. Susan graduated from St. Rosalia High School with honors in 1961 and Duquesne University in 1967. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Greensburg. She belonged to the Greensburg College Club, Cathedral's Active Seniors Group, Westmoreland County Historical Society and AARP. She was a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International. She enjoyed playing bridge and reading. She loved nature and animals, especially feeding squirrels, rabbits, ducks and other birds. Prior to her retirement, she helped numerous aging seniors in her work as a caseworker for more than 25 years with the Westmoreland County Area Agency on Aging. Susan is survived by her husband of 53 years, Edward Azel Meadows; daughter, Robin Meadows and her husband, Robert Rugh; daughter, Lisa Meadows and her husband, Thomas Lindahl; family friends, Amy Gratzinger, Sister Edie Strong and Andrea Kush; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved grand-dogs, Snoopy and Willie. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2022, in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 N. Main St., Greensburg, where a funeral liturgy outside of Mass will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022. Private Interment will take place in St. Clair Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, 300 N.
