Suzanne W. Clemens, 76, of Greensburg passed peacefully at home, Saturday, December 8, 2012. She was born August 6, 1936, in Greensburg, the daughter of the late Curtis P. and Edithe Neighley Waugaman. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a 60 plus year member of the First Presbyterian Church of Greensburg and 1954 graduate of Greensburg High School. She attended business classes at the Westmoreland County Community College. She was a former Register of Vital Statistics for the State of Pennsylvania in Greensburg. She held various positions as a secretary and medical transcriptionist in the Greensburg area. Suzanne enjoyed music, reading, hummingbird collectibles, the Highlanders, Silvers Sneakers and attending live music concerts.
Suzanne is survived by her husband of 52 years, Wayne Leo Clemens; three sons, Jeffrey W. Clemens, husband of Carole Wegner of Cary, NC; Timothy L. Clemens of Greensburg; Scott A. Clemens of Newark, DE; and a daughter, Dianna S., wife of Kenneth Heim of Fayetteville, Pa; five grandchildren, Rachael (Clemens), wife of Nathan Rizor; Erik Wegner-Clemens; Ariana Heim, Kira Wegner-Clemens and Colyn Heim; a brother, Donald C. Waugaman of Saltsburg, Pa; and a sister, Barbara Lynn (Waugaman) Jones of Smyrna, Ga; a sister in law, Gladys (Clemens), wife of Michael Panichella of Greensburg; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Kepple Graft Funeral Home. Funeral and committal services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with The Rev. Martin Ankrum presiding in the funeral home with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be private at the St. Clair Cemetery Mausoleum.
