Terrence Hurd

Terrence D. “Terry” Hurd, 84 of Greensburg, passed away, Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in his home.  He was born April 12, 1938 in Gallitzin, a son of the late James Kelly Hurd and Dorothy (Shank) Hurd.

Terry had a career in Real Estate with Northwood Realty and also enjoyed working as a Hempfield Township school bus driver.  He was a proud veteran of the US Marines and had many interests and hobbies, including being an avid gun owner and shooting at the range.  He enjoyed motorcycles and kept busy with crossword puzzles, Sudoku and jigsaw puzzles.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Barbara A. (Marks) Hurd, whom he married September 19, 1986;  his cherished daughters and sons in law, Pam Regina and her husband Joel, and Danielle Ross and her husband Nick. Terry was blessed with four grandchildren, Joel Regina (Jessica); Sean Regina (Julie  Anne); Casey Regina (MaryAnn) and Laura Harrer; and six great-grandchildren, Alexis, Eva, Sean, Isaac, Elijah and Noah; also surviving are his brother, Dennis Hurd (Sandra) and his sister, Connie Peduzzi; several nieces and nephews and his  fur babies, Mayzie and Sophie.  Terry’s family includes his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Phyllis Marks,  and special friends Jim and Holly Connor, and Mary Ann Tinti.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Tuesday, January 24 from 5 to 7 pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg where his memorial service and military honors will be held at 7 pm with Pastor Jonathan Hartland officiating.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to:  Semper Fi & America’s Fund.  Online condolences are welcome at www.kepplegraft.com.
