Thelma Fennell, 91, a resident of Greensburg Care Center passed peacefully on February 16th 2016.
Thelma was born July 24th 1924 to her parents, the late Charles and Flora Wallace Walters.
She was a charter member of the Charter Oak United Methodist Church.
Thelma was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Leroy R. Fennell; a son, Richard M. Fennell of Marysville, KS; sisters, Marie Walters and Freda Hamilton; and brothers, Donald Walters and Chester Walters.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey A. Fennell and his wife, Christine of Ardara, daughter-in-law, Nancy Fennell of Topeka, KS, sister-in-law, Marian Walters of Jeannette, numerous nieces and nephews, and close friend, Gail Young of Greensburg.
Mere words cannot express how deeply appreciative the family is to the caregivers at Greensburg Care Center & Grane Hospice for their years of dedicated care and compassion they showed Thelma.
Family and friends will be received Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home524 N. Main Street, Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
Services will be held at Charter Oak United Methodist Church, February 19, 2016 at 11:00 am with Rev. Christ Whitehead officiating.
Private interment will follow in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park, Greensburg, Pennsylvania 15601.
