Thomas E. Byerly

Thomas E. Byerly, 71, of Greensburg, died Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024, in St. Annes Nursing Home. He was born September 4, 1952, in Irwin, a son of the late William F. and Margret (Rainey) Byerly. Prior to retirement, he was a general manager of a cleaning company, The EMS Group. He graduated from Norwin High School, followed by The University of Pittsburgh. He was an avid Pitt football fan. Tom was also a valued member of SonRise Church in Greensburg. He lived his life loving Jesus and loving people in every way he could. One of his greatest joys of all was spending time with his two precious grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Deborah J. (Lehman); his parents, William F. and Margret (Rainey) Byerly; and his brother, William F. Byerly. He is survived by his devoted son, Timothy Byerly; his daughter-in-law, Megan Byerly; and grandchildren Rowan Byerly and June Byerly. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Byerly; sister, Nancy Byerly; and brother, Jim Byerly; as well as nieces and nephews. Per Tom’s wishes, there will be no visitation or formal services.
