Thomas R. Deni Sr., 75 of Haines City, Florida, formally of Freeport passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 14, 2011 in Greensburg..
He was born in York, PA, on July 31, 1936 and was the son of the late Thomas and Eleanor (Lessig) Deni .
Tom had served in the Army during the Korean War and was a deacon and member of the Chapel by the Lake at Plantation Landings in Florida. He was a member of the Masonic organization and an active volunteer at Kids World in Kisseminee, Fl. and also was a guide for Disney World and sang in the Christmas Processional.
Tom was a retired employee for the Magee Women's Hospital in Pittsburgh .
Surviving are his loving wife, Peggy Jane Enterline Deni, two sons, Thomas R. Deni Jr., and Michael J. Deni and wife Karen Marie of Jeannette along with his four grandchildren, Michael J. Deni, Jr., Anthony Deni, Jessie Loretta Deni, and Luke Deni. He is also survived by his father and mother in law Richard and Loretta Enterline, sister and brother in law, Joanne and Ron Krynicky and brother in law Richard Enterline along with two nieces and several cousins and his faithful dogs Sadie and Fred.
Honoring Tom's wishes there will be no public visitation and his family will conduct a memorial service in Florida at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial
contributions be made to the Evangelical Heights Assembly of God Church in Sarver, Pa.
