Thomas A. Ruoff, 85 of New Alexandria, passed away on Sunday December 21, 2014 at Excela Westmoreland Hospital surrounded by his family.
He was born in Jeannette on 12/16/1929 and was the son of the late Elmer J. and Martha B. (Moore) Ruoff.
He was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greensburg and had served in the Army in the 304th Signal Battalion during the Korean War.
Prior to retirement, he worked as a Supervisor for the former Bell Telephone Company.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Ulishney and brother, Donald Ruoff.
Surviving are his loving wife of 58 years, Rusty Ruoff and sons, Mark T. Ruoff and wife, Karen, and Gregory B. Ruoff and Judy; five grandchildren, Morgan and Spencer Ruoff; Rachael Pittman, Danielle McClain, Candis Mosco, four great grandchildren and two sisters, Jean Firestone and husband, Phil, and June Gondosh and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received Friday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.
Services will be held on Saturday at 10am at Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Brian B. Chaffee officiating.
Interment will follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
