Thomas J. ' Whitey' Siebert, 83 of Manor passed away, Friday, March 22, 2013 at home with his daughters by his side.
He was born September 22, 1929 in Monroeville and was the son of the late Harry and Ethel (McCauley) Siebert.
Whitey was a sergeant in the US Air Force. He was also a member of Westmoreland Masonic Lodge No. 518 and an active member of Otterbein United Methodist Church of Greensburg. Whitey was a retired auto mechanic. He enjoyed his weekly SKAT game with his buddies and his Monday morning breakfasts with the 'Over the Hill Gang.'
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife whom he married in 1952 Phyllis Truxell Siebert in 2005, a sister, Mildred, and a brother, Donald.
Surviving are his two daughters, Kimberly Siebert and fiancAC.e John Bellotti with whom he lived with and Sherri Kopko and husband, Robert of North Huntingdon and several nieces and nephews.
His family wishes to express their thanks and gratitude to Pastor Aimee Twigg and the Otterbein United Methodist Church Family, Rev. Darlene Williams and the First UMC of Manor, as well as Family Hospice and Palliative Care, especially Alane and Rosie.
Honoring Whitey's wishes, there will be no public visitation. A memorial service for Tom will be held at the Otterbein United Methodist Church, April 13, 2013 at 11:00 am with Pastor Aimee Twigg officiating.
