Twila "Candy" Savage, 88 of Greensburg, died Thursday, January 1, 2015 in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. She was born January 16, 1926, in Cherry Township, Butler County, a daughter of the late Paul E. and Ruth Ann Riding Grossman. Prior to moving to the area, she lived in Chicago, IL. Before retiring, Twila worked as a telephone operator for Illinois Bell, with 38years of service. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Marguerite. She was also a member of Pioneers Telephone Employee Organization of Illinois and the Irish American Club of Chicago, IL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Savage in 1970; her sisters, Bernice A Stanko and Helen H. Erdos. Twila is survived by her 2 brothers, Robert D. Grossman of Grove City and James D. Grossman (Bonita) of Greensburg; also, numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg on Monday from 12 to 2 PM at which time a blessing service will be held. Burial will be held in Illinois.
