Valorie Daw

Valorie Diane Daw, 65, of Greensburg (Unity Township) died Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in her home. She was born on February 23, 1950 in Penn Hills, PA, a daughter of the late Louis and Louise (Russo) Vannucci.
Valorie was employed as a teacher's aide with Latrobe Elementary School and most recently at Baggely Elementary School. She referred to the children she taught and cared for as her "little lovies". She enjoyed seeing shows at Mountain Play House and Civic Light Opera and was an avid supporter of the arts. She was a past PTO president of Mt. View Elementary School.
She was also very much involved in Latrobe High School parent organizations, including hockey and theater boosters. She loved dinners out and spending time with her family and friends.
Valorie is survived by her husband of 36 years, John A. Daw and was a mother of 3 boys, J.D. Daw of New York City, Joe Daw of Greensburg and Thomas Daw and fiancAC., Amy Armstrong of Greensburg; a brother, Dan Vannucci (Dorothy) of Colorado Springs, CO; nephews, nieces, great nephew and many, many friends and loved ones.
Friends and relatives will be received at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, Inc., 524 North Main Street, Greensburg on Monday from 4-8 PM. Prayers of transfer will be recited at the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass in Our Lady of Grace Church, Greensburg. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery.
