Virginia M. "Tweet" Butts, 84 of Greensburg, Passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010 in New Haven Court, Hempfield Twp.
She was born August 10, 1925 in Johnstown, a Daughter of the late Howard and Mary "Miller" Bloom.
Tweet was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral Church in Greensburg..
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earle A. Butts, Jr. a Daughter Marsha Butts, and Brother Gerald Bloom..
Surviving are two Daughters, Cindy Stannard and husband Bob of Portland, Oregon and Lisa West and husband Brian of Hong Kong, China, a Brother, Richard Bloom and wife Linda of Johnstown, and four Grandchildren, Nick and Ben Stannard, Brittany and Parker West, and Several Nieces .
Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 PM at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, Inc. 524 North Main St. Greensburg.
Parting prayers will be held on Monday at 930 am in the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass in the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, 300 N. Main Street Greensburg at 10 am.
Private interment will be held in South Carolina.
The family would like to thank New Haven Court for the care and compassion shown to Tweet, and to her dear friend, Karen who was always there for her.
In lieu of flowers memorial Contributions may be made to the Greensburg-Hempfield Public Library, 237 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Greensburg, PA 15601.
