Virginia Humphrey Jamison Grosscup, 93 of Greensburg, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2010.
Born in 1917, Ginny was the beloved daughter of Marguerite and Arthur Humphrey, wife of Thomas S. Jamison and later Benjamin Grosscup. She was the mother of Margo Sisson (Elliott), Sibby McCrady (Duff), Ginger Getz, and Conni White (Tell) and the grandmother of T.J. & Will McCrady, Coco McCrady Rudolf, Ginny Sisson & Mimi Sisson Bean, Eliza & Ben Grosscup, and Jennie & Tell White. And she enjoyed her role immensely as "Great Mum" to nine great grandchildren! She also leaves behind her sister-in-law and dear friend, Rebecca Humphrey.
Ginny was a committed volunteer in her community, a dedicated gardner and faithful friend to many. Her generosity and keen sense of humor will be missed by all, especially Linda, Tracy, and Debbie!
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Christ Episcopal Church 145 North Main Street, Greensburg on Friday, December 10th at 11:00 AM.
