Virginia L. Hackwelder, 79 of Jeannette died on Tuesday 2/18/2014 in the Westmoreland Manor. She was born in Pittsburgh on 11/10/1934 and was the daughter of the late George and Helen (June) McLean Hoffmann.
Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 60 years Edward Hackwelder and a son Robert (Bob) Hackwelder and two daughters Tammy (William) Warth and Lorri (Robert) Valinsky and three grandchildren Clinton and Matthew Warth and John Spatta , four great grandchildren and her two sisters, Shirley Davis and Margie Abriola.
Family and friends will be received in the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main St. Greensburg on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm and Friday from 10 am till 11 am followed by a service at 11 am with Rev. David Clemente officiating.
Interment will follow in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park.
