Virginia B. Morris, 96, of Lakeland, FL, formerly of Greensburg passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, in Savannah Court of Lakeland in Florida.
She was born February 17, 1917 in Greensburg to George E. and Henrietta B. Berry. Virginia graduated from Greensburg High School in 1934. She was married on April 15, 1938 to E. Richard Morris.
Virginia retired from Old Republic Insurance Company in 1979. After retirement she was a volunteer at the YWCA Thrift Shop for 20 years. She also enjoyed playing cards, especially bridge, reading, and working crossword puzzles. She loved spending time with her family.
Besides her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband who died in 2008, a son E. Richard Morris, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Janice Morris, sister Dorothy B. Holloway, and brother George E. Berry, Jr.
Surviving are a son, Randall S. Morris and daughter and son-in-law, Patricia M. and Ronald K. Lloyd all of Lakeland, Florida, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter, and a number of nieces and nephews
Honoring Virginia's wishes there will be no public visitation and services will be held privately
