Vivian I. Keracher, 86 formerly of Greensburg passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009 in Concordia Lutheran Home in Cabot.
She was born Thursday, March 8, 1923 in Latrobe, Daughter of the late William H. and Blanche (Loughner) Leonhardt.
She had retired in 1988 from the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.
Vivian was a Charter member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Greensburg (West Point).
She was preceded in death by her Parents and husband John R.( Johnnie Roberts) Keracher..
Surviving are Son, Lawrence W. Noftz and wife Kathy of Derry, Step-daughter, Jean Semenko and husband John of Greensburg, Grandsons, Brian and Darren Noftz of Derry and Edward L. Noftz and wife Rosemarie of Tamaqua, Pa, a Brother, William H. (Tim)Leonhardt of Greensburg, Sister, Phyllis J. Campbell of Cabot, , Four Great -Grandchildren and a special niece, Diana Campbell and husband Ken of Valencia and numerous other Nieces and nephews.
Family and Friends will be received at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main Street Greensburg on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
Services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 10 am with Pastor Edward L. Noftz officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hillview Cemetery.
The family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 501 Fairfield Drive, Greensburg.
