Wade Bickel

Wade R. Bickel, 85, of Greensburg, passed away, Monday, Oct. 8, 2012 in Excela Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born November 15, 1926 in South Greensburg a son of the late Wilford and Margaret Cope Bickel. Wade retired as an officer with the US Coast Guard. He previously served in the Army Transportation Service during World War II. He was a member of the Retired Officers Association and the South Greensburg American Legion Post 981. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Juanita and Charles Mull. He is survived by the following nieces and nephews, Diana Strohm; Kathy Tokarcik; Rev. Eric Mull; Roger Mull and Lisa Dellamea and great nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Thursday in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC an authorized remembrance provider, 524 N MAIN ST. GREENSBURG, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am the time of funeral services with his nephew, Rev. Eric Mull. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park with military honors bestowed by the South Greensburg American Legion Post 981Honor Guard. Terence L.
