Walter L. Harris, 71 of South Greensburg passed away Monday, March 20, 2017.
He was born April 18, 1945 in Parkersburg, WV, a son of the late Matilda Ruth (Adams) and Charles W. Harris.
Walter was an avid Triumph motorcycle rider who also enjoyed bicycling, especially on the 5 star trail with his Cannondale bike. He was an electronics buff and ham radio operator and a very handy man that helped everyone he touched. He enjoyed his work in the refrigeration business before and after retirement. Walter enjoyed working out at the YMCA and walking with friends and keeping fit. He was a kind and caring person who will be missed by his many friends and family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Charles Addison Harris.
Surviving are his sister, Ruth Harbaugh, brother, John Harris and wife, Melanie; and nephews, Wesley A. Harshell, Donald Harshell, Connor Harris and Nicholas Harris.
There will be no formal viewing. All friends are invited to a celebration of his life Friday March 24th from 4pm to 7pm. Come by anytime and share food and drink at DeNunzio’s restaurant at 700 Lowry Ave in Jeannette
