William Luksis

February 16, 1917 — November 9, 2009

William F. Luksis, 92 of Greensburg, formerly of West Mifflin, died Monday, November 9, 2009 in Green Meadows Nursing Home, Latrobe.

He was born February 16, 1917 in Pittsburgh, a Son of the late Frank and Anna (Skriskas) Luksis.

He was a member of St. Vincent Basilica Parish in Latrobe.

Prior to his retirement he worked as a Tool & Dye Maker for Westinghouse .

Surviving are his beloved wife of 70 years, Cecelia Luksis, Daughter, Gerry Kratzenberg and husband Thomas of Greensburg, Son, William "Duke" Luksis of Olney, MD.,Six grandchildren, Dr. Thomas Kratzenberg and wife Ann, Dr. Karen Lazzaro and husband Joseph, David Kratzenberg and wife Jennifer, Jason Luksis, Katie Riccio and husband Darren, and Melissa Perez and husband Adam, a Sister, Eleanor Kondrot and husband Stanley of Baldwin, ten Great-Grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home,Inc., 524 North Main St., Greensburg.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Vincent Basilica Church, on Friday, at 10:00 AM .

Interment will follow in the St. Vincent Cemetery, Latrobe.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in William's memory to Heartland Hospice, 3520 Rte. 130, Bldg. #3, Irwin, PA 15642..
