Wilma Anthony

Wilma J. Anthony, 83 of Greensburg, passed away, Friday, March 16, 2018 at Redstone Highlands.

She was born June 5, 1934 in Southwest Greensburg, a daughter of the late Howard and Hazel Anderson Claspy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Claspy, mother-in-law, Evelyn Anthony, and father-in-law, William Anthony.

Surviving are her husband, Maurice (Moe) Anthony; daughters, Karen Cole and husband, David, and Sharon Southlea and husband, Curt; grandchildren, Jacquelyn Runco and husband, Aaron, Julia Cole, Scott Southlea and Mark Southlea; great grandchildren, Evelyn and Owen Runco; sister, Betty McNerny; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Wilma was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was her world.

She loved to sew, tend her flowers and be with friends who loved her warm smile and loving heart.

She was a homemaker and also worked as a secretary/bookkeeper for Commercial Printing and retired from the Arthritis Foundation.

Wilma was a member and deacon of First Presbyterian Church where she was also a member of the Kirk Ringers Handbell Choir.

Honoring Wilma's wishes there will be no public visitation.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 20 at 11:00 at the First Presbyterian Church, 300 S. Main Street, Greensburg with Rev. Dr. Martin Ankrum officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Greensburg.
