Wilma M. Kashawlic, 88, of Greensburg, passed away Friday, July 1, 2011, in Villa Angela at St. Anne Home, Greensburg, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 21, 1923, in Harrison City, and was a daughter of the late John and Anna Targos. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Greensburg. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who loved to sew for her family. She enjoyed her babysitting and spending time with her family. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Kashawlic; four sisters, Mary Stevick, Anne Briscoe, Jane Martini and Betty Abrams; along with four brothers, John, Frank, Walter and Stanley Targos. Surviving are her four daughters, Janet Angelopoulos and husband, Chris, of Greensburg, Joanne Fries and husband, Rick, of Penn Township, Linda Mroz and husband, Ken, of Greensburg, and Barbara Thompson and husband, Alan, of, Latrobe; along with her nine grandchildren, Nicole McCullough, Chris Angelopoulos and wife Brianne, Jamie and Matthew Fries, David Mroz and wife Becky, Jeff and Greg Mroz, Katie and Joey Thompson; also her four great-grandchildren, Emily and Abby McCullough, Luca Angelopoulos and Zachary Mroz; her sister, Blanche Nalevanko, of South Dakota; and brother, Edward Targos, of California. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. A prayer service will be held at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Chapel (Bishop Connare Center), Route 30 East, Greensburg. Interment will follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. Wilma's family would like to thank the staff at Villa Angela and Celtic Hospice for their excellent care and compassion given to their mother. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Villa Angela at St. Anne Home, 685 Angela Drive, Greensburg, PA 15601. Terence L.
