Amy Louise Cope Hartman, 56, of North Huntingdon, died Thursday, April 7, 2016 in Family Hospice and Palliative Care, Mt. Lebanon. She was born in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Ronald A. and Dolores L. Albright Cope. She was a member of Circleville United Methodist Church, North Huntingdon and Circleville United Methodist Women’s Group. Amy was a home school teacher and home schooled her children. She was a hockey mom, scout leader and member of the Corvette Club of Western PA and supported the Brother’s Brother Foundation among many other charities. She gave her time to various cancer support groups. Amy enjoyed photography, scrap booking and traveling. She had an extensive hat collection. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Myron David Hartman. She is survived by her children, Brian Hartman (Carol) of North Huntingdon, Scott Hartman and fiancé Kassandra of Greensburg and Katie Barbuscak (Matthew) of Bellefonte; her brother, Kevin Cope (Ruth) of Pittsburgh; nieces, Kellie Riley (Donald) and Kacie Johnson (Joshua); a nephew, Kevin Cope; her aunt, Maxine Brannon of Cranberry Twp.; and her 2 “African sons”, Prince Kwenah and Willie Voupawoe. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 4-8 PM at Kepple-Graft Funeral, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. Additional visitation will be held on Monday from 10 AM until Amy’s hour of service at 11 AM in Circleville United Methodist Church, 11600 Parkway Drive, North Huntingdon, PA 15642. Private interment will follow at Westmoreland County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Circleville United Methodist Church.
