Esther K. Brown, 99, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in Redstone Highlands, Greensburg.  She was born on March 16, 1917, a daughter of the late Charles Keenan and Anna Marie (Beck) Keenan.

Esther was a caring homemaker tending to her family.  She was member of the Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greensburg, where she was currently the oldest living baptized member.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Brown; brothers, Harry, Howard, Richard, Charles and Lewis Keenan and a sister, Kathrine Bierer.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Boscarino of Greensburg; her grandchildren, Robert Boscarino, Jr., of Greensburg, Kristen L Boscarino of Pittsburgh and Michael J. Boscarino (Lesley) of Alexandria, VA; a sister, Jean Crosby of Greensburg; also, several nieces and nephews.

Esther’s family would like to extend a special thanks to Promise Hospice and the staff at Redstone Highlands for their special care and concern for Esther.

Esther’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 29, at 10 am in Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church 140 S. Pennsylvania Ave, Greensburg with her pastor, Rev. Brian B. Chaffee officiating.  Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 N. Main St., Greensburg.  Memorials may be made to Zion’s Lutheran Church.
