J. Donald Turnbull

J. Donald Turnbull , 81 of Greensburg died Friday 5/13/2016 in  Redstone Highlands, Greensburg.

He was born in Reading on 9/26/1934 and was the son of the late Walter D. and Catherine Weber Turnbull.

Don had served in the US Navy and was a retired director of Marketing for Pepsi Corporation.  He was a long time member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in (West Point) Greensburg and after retiring was an active volunteer for many years at Excela Westmoreland Hospital.

He had been a former board member of the Reading Civic Opera Society.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son J. D. Turnbull.

Surviving is his loving wife Jean K. Turnbull and daughter Vicki (Stuart) Foglesong and a sister Judy (John) Kutzamanis , a brother Dr. Craig (Pat) Turnbull and  sister and brother in law Carol and Ron Denlinger; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg with a funeral service to follow at  7:00 pm Monday in the funeral home with Pastor’s Frank Podolinski Jr. and David Clement co-officiating.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 10 am in the St. Paul’s Reformed Cemetery in Trauger.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to either the Humane Society of Westmoreland County or Westmoreland Food Bank.
