James Robert “Jim” Himler, 75, of Greensburg, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Saturday, September 8, 2018 through Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born in Greensburg on April 29, 1943, a son of the late Alex James Himler and Dorothy Eleanor Steel Himler. He was a member of Norwin Alliance Church. Jim was an electrical engineer and retired from General Electric. He loved tractors and people and liked doing anything mechanical with his hands. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy Ann Quenzler Himler; his son, James M. “Jimmy” Himler (Cheryl) of Armbrust and his daughter, J. Renee Himler of New Stanton; 2 brothers, Wayne Himler (Maryann) and Edgar Himler (Dawn); 2 grandsons, Justin and Alex Himler; also, numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg, PA. A memorial service for Jim will be held on Wednesday at 11 am in Norwin Alliance Church, 10585 Farview Drive, North Huntington, PA 15642. Please everyone go directly to the church.
